The spark for this challenge began after I retired from a 44-year corporate career designing commercial office spaces. For so long, my work gave me structure, purpose, and friendships. But when retirement came, the quiet was louder than I expected.
The struggle was real. I missed my routine. I missed my colleagues. I missed waking up each day knowing exactly where I was needed. Instead of feeling free, I felt unanchored and I saw so many others going through the very same thing.
The solution came slowly. I started focusing on small but powerful shifts building physical strength, creating new connections, and exploring new passions. I discovered that retirement doesn’t have to be a slow fade; it can be a bold, vibrant chapter of growth and joy.
